The Ukrainian Pavilion opened the drone industry’s main event of the year: Day One at Commercial UAV Expo 2025

In Las Vegas, the Ukrainian Pavilion was unveiled at Commercial UAV Expo 2025 — the leading international exhibition of unmanned systems that defines the key trends in the industry’s development. From the very beginning, the attention of participants, visitors, and media was drawn to Ukraine’s consolidated technology stand, which became a symbol of the strength, scale, and maturity of solutions capable of transforming the global market. The national exposition became a hub of the drone ecosystem’s diversity, showcasing on the international stage companies operating across all key segments — from software development and navigation systems to the production of platforms, components, and service models. This confirmed that Ukraine is building a new architecture of innovation — a system where each element reinforces the other, and together they shape the trajectory of the global UAV industry’s evolution.
The Ukrainian Pavilion was organized by DroneUA I Futurology with the support of the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco, Diia.City United, the Lviv City Council, and the IRON Cluster. Held under the aegis of the Fleet of Millions initiative, the pavilion became an example of how the synergy of business, diplomacy, and local initiatives creates the foundation for the long-term presence of Ukrainian innovations on the global stage.
The Ukrainian Pavilion features companies that represent diverse directions in drone technology development and together form a full cycle of solutions:
DroneUA | Futurology — international integrators of unmanned technologies, robotics, energy solutions, and data analytics, focused on implementing innovations in agriculture, energy, infrastructure, security, and emergency response worldwide. The companies combine a decade of experience in market development across Europe with a strategic presence in the United States, ensuring the integration of Ukrainian innovations into key global economic sectors.
Bavovna — a dual-use technology company developing AI-based navigation solutions for alternative and hybrid navigation in environments where GNSS signals are absent or disrupted. The company’s technologies are compatible with commercial UAVs and robotic systems, meet NDAA requirements, and provide reliable positioning in the air, on land, and at sea. The flagship MultiVector Airflow sensor ushers in a new generation of autonomous solutions, enabling precise navigation without GPS in the most challenging environments.
AeroDrone — a developer and manufacturer of unmanned aerial systems. Its flagship models, D80-Discovery and E300-Enterprise, provide payload capacities of up to 80 kg and 300 kg respectively, flight ranges of up to 800 km and 3,000 km, as well as fully automated mission execution from takeoff to landing. The platforms are used in logistics, communications, infrastructure monitoring, precision agriculture, search-and-rescue operations, and security missions.
BlueBird — a developer and manufacturer of unmanned systems and electronic warfare solutions. The company’s portfolio includes UAVs for specialized missions, EW systems, counter-drone tools, signal amplifiers, and ground relay stations. BlueBird’s developments are aimed at enhancing the efficiency and security of operations and are already being used to build modern counter-drone infrastructure.
BOXO — an engineering company with over a decade of experience in designing and manufacturing custom flight cases for the safe transportation of equipment. Each solution is tailored to the client’s specific needs, with internal foam inserts precisely matching the shape of the equipment to ensure protection and ease of use.
FreeUAV — a company founded in 2018 by a team of engineers with over 20 years of experience in developing aviation systems. It specializes in designing drones for search-and-rescue operations, geological exploration, infrastructure monitoring, and environmental supervision. Its key development is a VTOL drone with vertical takeoff and landing, a flight range of up to 70 km, and an endurance of up to 140 minutes, equipped with optical and thermal cameras.
Sine Engineering — a developer of advanced communication modules and navigation solutions that enable drones to operate in GPS-denied and EW-affected environments, as well as provide capabilities for swarm control of UAVs.
BP United Inc. — a company operating at the intersection of security technologies and global logistics, covering the full cycle from design and production to certification and delivery. Its portfolio includes aerial and maritime unmanned systems, security solutions, certified components for equipment, and technologies to support humanitarian and security operations in challenging environments.
Farsight Vision — a developer of hardware and software solutions for creating digital twins of terrain and real-time analytics. The company’s technologies transform UAV data into accurate 2D and 3D models even without GNSS, unlocking new opportunities for mission planning, reconnaissance, infrastructure monitoring, and tactical decision support.
Sky Tech Drones LLC — manufacturer and service provider of UAVs, conducting technical testing, scientific research, and experimental development in aviation and related technologies.
Today, Ukraine demonstrates a new level of maturity in the field of unmanned technologies. In just the past two years, the country has progressed from being an active user of imported solutions to becoming the world’s largest producer of drones with a fully localized cycle — from final systems to key components such as engines, controllers, optics, and antennas. This level of autonomy emerged as a response to unprecedented challenges that forced the industry to operate at maximum speed and adaptability. Ukrainian engineers are creating drones and robotic systems capable of functioning in GPS-denied environments and under active electronic warfare, while software teams deliver new solutions in cycles measured not in years, but in weeks. What other markets consider a long-term horizon has already become practice in Ukraine. It is precisely for this reason that the Ukrainian UAV ecosystem is entering the global stage as a source of innovations proven in real operating conditions and ready for scaling across any sector of the economy.
Ahead lie two more intensive days combining the exhibition and conference segments of the event. This is where key panel discussions will take place with the participation of Ukrainian developers and international partners, setting the strategic directions for the development of the unmanned systems market.
On September 3, the main stage of Caesars Forum will host the panel discussion “The $15 Billion-Dollar Sky – How Agri-Drones are Powering America’s Next Tech Boom.” The focus will be on the development of the agri-drone market in the U.S., its economic potential, the structure of new service models, and the role of innovation in transforming agriculture. The discussion will feature Iurii Pederii (AeroDrone), Vladimir Gaplik (FarmFleet), and Ashley Hanson (John Deere Aviation).
On September 4, the panel discussion “Lessons from Ukraine Define the Future of Commercial Drone and Counter-Drone Innovations” will take place. Participants will present practices emerging from the Ukrainian market, where scaling occurs simultaneously in both commercial and security segments. Expert insights will be shared by Dmytro Kushneruk (Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco), Dmytro Shymkiv (AeroDrone), Fevzi Ametov (Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine), and Maksym Prasolov (Bavovna).
Ukraine’s participation in Commercial UAV Expo 2025 proved that our country not only follows trends but is shaping a new paradigm for the development of unmanned technologies. Ukrainian engineers demonstrate that innovations created under extremely challenging conditions can transform global markets and open new horizons for collaboration and scaling.
